EMMA HAMMES Now

One of my favorite memories from this year was going back in person and being able to see people again. The part of high school that i’m gonna miss the most is the amount of memories I have made there. Moving on from high school has been and is still scary. It feels like you have to grow up so quickly. Graduating early was one of the best decisions I made. I like to be independent and I wanted to get a head start in my future the second I had the chance.

“For my future, I knew the 4 year college route just wasn’t for me at this moment. I wanted something I could start right away and not have to go through a ton more schooling. After graduating early in January, I enrolled in Paul Mitchell- the school in Sacramento for the esthetics program. I have been in the program since March and will have my esthetician license by the end of July. This path was the best option for me because I can get started on my career right away, which is what I wanted.”
