NOW- I want to remember how hard I’ve worked because it’s going to take a lot of work to get to where I want to be. I also want him [Riddle’s future self] to remember how hard I worked to get where I’ll be in 20 years and how many sleepless nights and dedication it took to get where I’ll be.

NEXT- I want to be a firefighter and I want to go to Yuba College to study fire science. My dad made me want to be a firefighter because he is one. He’s not really with me a whole lot but being a firefighter seems like a cool career.
NOW- I want my future self to know that life is too short to be stuck in an unhappy mindset. Do things that will make you happy. Do explore the world. Travel with loved ones. Overall, don’t dwell on things that you will forget about or be unimportant in the next few years. It only makes you unhappy in general.
NEXT- After graduation, I am going to continue my education at Boise State getting my bachelors degree in health sciences. Then proceed to nursing school where I will get my registered nursing degree. I would love to travel this summer before college but with COVID-19 I am not sure how much of a reality it will truly be but that is the plan about now. The plan is to go to the Bahamas for my boyfriend’s best friend’s birthday. We all love to travel and I’m good friends with his girlfriend so it would be a great trip with some good people.
NOW- I would want my future self to know that I work hard at school and in life, and I hope that I’m still putting in the same effort 20 years from now. Right now, I’m putting the most effort into keeping my grades up. I’m also putting effort into my job as a courtesy clerk at Safeway where I have worked for around a year and a half now.
NEXT- I’m going to graduate and go to Sierra College once I graduate and I’m still deciding but I am thinking about becoming either an english or history high school teacher.

NOW- I want my future self to know that life right now might be the craziest it’ll ever be, but everything is going to work out.
NEXT- My next step is to move in with my best friend and start my journey in real estate. The craziest thing in my life right now is how busy I’ve been able to stay despite the pandemic; being able to assistant coach a 10u softball team, working as a barista, picking up new hobbies, it feels like life is starting to get back to normal. As for my new hobbies, I started to get back into skating after lockdown hit. I originally started skating because my best friend showed me how to do a pop shove-it in middle school and I’ve loved it ever since. I started doing nails on the side as well. It’s so cool to be able to make money while doing something fun.
