As you walk in, people greet you with resepect and class. You walk in, and you can immedately the amazing, party atmosphere. The staff greet you and you can Immediately get to having fun with yor friends. This is what Rolla High school’s 2018 prom feels and looks like. Charles Victor, a senior at Rolla High

School, had some words to say about prom. “It was pretty good, I thought the decorations were pretty good and the venue was nice. Altough, I was kind of dissapointed in the DJ. It was my senior prom so I wanted to make the most of it, so I danced to the songs, even though most of the songs were not that good. I feel like a lot of people had the same attitude as me [about the DJ] “. The dance was held at Hasselman Alumni House in Rolla, Missouri. In previ-

ous years, the adance has been held at the Havener center on MS&T campus in Rolla. The theme for this year was “A Night of Madness” , an Alice In Wonderland theme. English teacher Mary Gillis was very pleased with the dance. “This was my 20th prom, and i was very pleased with it. Early in the day, I shw up early with a team of people to make sure all th decorations are built and flowres ge pickd up and thing like that. But, during the dance, you just kind of sit back and

look at how nicely the students are dressed up, making sure the food table is set up, and filling the ice buckets up and ya know, taking care of people if they need something. ust sit back and relax and make sure everyone is safe and leaves the dance safely. The dance was turly a magical night and wa one the students can keep in their “mental scrapbooks” forever. See “Prom” page 7
