Bahari Malang Irish Pub is the first Irish Pub concept place in Malang. Offers an interactive space that combines culture, warmth and friendliness for its visitors.
The aim of the project was to provide an iconic Irish Pub identity to the space. Combining spatial layout with lighting and materials gives a new atmosphere in Malang.
The existing building is an old house in the City of Malang. Because it was a residential building, there are lots of walls to divide the public and private areas. In the layout planning process, I was prioritizing to maximize space and reduce costs. Therefore, efforts are made to minimize demolition and organize the layout of each space as needed.
Irish Pub is the main concept of this bar, so the materials and colors follow the existing Irish Pub identity. Such as the use of wood material on the surfaces of the walls, ceiling and floor, apart from that, the use of emerald green paint was added to strengthen its identity.
