MISSION Our group project is to revive Redhook by rebranding the city as a sustainable place. Through understanding the effects of Sandy and Redhook as a community-oriented city, innovation is the key our group will use to rebrand Redhook. From a talk show to annual events, supporting local businesses and even a fashion line, our innovative ideas for a sustainable Redhook derive from localizing Redhook for Redhook.

In order to localize their restaurant, the couple even uses produce from the local farm and serves local key-lime pie from Steve’s for dessert (another Red Hook must try!).

Instead, you have skyline views and a waterfront view. Furthermore, in the summer, the pier offers free kayaking and outdoor films can be viewed in the park.
red hook added value Youth Empowerment Programs Youth participants grow food on the Red Hook Community Farm, operate the Red Hook Farmers' Market, explore food systems and issues of food justice, and build their leadership skills. Added Value works with approximately 20 teenagers annually, who work an average of seventeen hours each week on the farm, at market, on the computers, and out in the community. They receive a monthly stipend, expanding their families' household income by as much as thirty percent.
