Viorica Mucenic, born Breabăn, came from a family of Bucovinian priests. Following a heart disease that started manifesting since the age of 16, she interrupted her studies during high school. She married Cicerone Mucenic in 1934, at Câmpulung Bucovina. Together, they made big efforts to create a peaceful atmosphere in the family and to minimise the impact of living in dire circumstances. When someone in the family was passing through some difficult times, the whole family had to be there to help. That’s how they all grew up. - 14 -
