Enjoy a pleasant 14 mile cycle along quiet roads on the outskirts of Fraserburgh and back along the Formartine & Buchan Way. This route is deemed moderate, so some cycling experience is necessary. Science and Climate Change in an Alternative Facts World Host: University of Aberdeen Location: Zoology Lecture Hall, Zoology Building. Time: 10am-12pm

During British Science Week and Climate Week, it is an appropriate time to examine the role of science, and our understanding of climate change, in a world where alternative facts are seen by some to have the same currency as real facts. There will be a panel including: Prof Piers Forster, University of Leeds; Prof Terry Dawson, Kings College London; Dr Jo House, University of Bristol; Prof Pete Smith, University of Aberdeen; Cllr Dr Martin Ford, Aberdeenshire Councillor, among others.
