What you can expect from the service we provide The Careers Centre exists to enable undergraduates, postgraduates and recent graduates of Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, to reach informed decisions regarding their future career, to assist them in achieving their goals, and to provide a framework to enable them to cope with subsequent career decisions.

Complaints

The Careers Centre contains a comprehensive collection of material aimed at assisting your career development. You will find the following Information:

If a user is unhappy about the service they receive, they can speak to a member of the team who will follow Robert Gordon University, complaints procedure (a copy can be obtained from the website).

What we offer

In addition to our daily drop in service the Careers Centre uses an online booking system, accessed by students by using their university username and password.

The Careers Centre is located on University Street (under RGU:Sport). During semester time, parking is restricted but permits are available to purchase from InfoZone, next to Careers Centre, for parking on Garthdee Road.

We aim to provide a friendly, professional and accessible service that facilitates your career development through advice, guidance, information and interactive programmes.

Confidentiality Statement The Careers Centre offers a confidential service to all users. We will not disclose anything about the nature or content of your contact with the Careers Centre without your consent. Any personal information about our interactions is electronically stored on our secure database and adheres to the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 and the Data Protection Act 1998.

Graduates can register for the system through www.rgu.ac.uk/careers. All other users of the service should phone: 01224 262110 to speak to a member of the team.

Feedback Your views are important to us and feedback is sought from users either verbally or through questionnaires. Results of these are evaluated and used to update and develop our services. They are available to view on our graffiti board on our website www.rgu.ac.uk/careers.

The centre is easily accessible for anyone with restricted mobility.
