The Cook County Department of Environment & Sustainability's Community Outreach Coordinator, Kate Carney, will join us to talk about ways to save money on your utility bills with energy efficiency and weatherizing tips and the Citizens Utility Board (CUB) will help you understand your utility bills. An Unexpected Journey Through Music Wednesday, September 22, 7-7:30 pm
Join pianist Dan Fogel while he takes you musically to an alternate fantasy universe where hobbits, pirates, aliens and ghosts exist. Let your imagination go while he plays music from The Hobbit, Lord of the Rings, E.T., Casper, Hook, Edward Scissorhands, Pirates of the Caribbean and many others! (R)

Celebrate National Chocolate Day and stop by the library to pick up a Hot Cocoa Kit! Kits will include Hot Cocoa mix and Hot Cocoa recipes to try! Kits are limited. Children under the age of nine (9) years old must be accompanied by a caregiver over the age of fourteen (14). The caregiver is responsible for the behavior and supervision of children in their care while at the library.
