BANUA SASIRANGAN

Banua Sasirangan is the design of a shop that specifically accommodates the sale of products made from sasirangan fabrics. Banua Sasirangan was designed in Cempaka, Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan as a response to accommodate the Cempaka community, which is famous for its sasirangan products. In addition to paying attention to aspects of the function of space, this building was designed philosophically against Banjar culture to provide a visual characteristic. The philosophy is taken based on the philosophy of “Bumbungan Tinggi”.

The plan consists of two buildings with each building having two floors. Floor plan measuring 10x10 m for each building. The second building is devoted to sasirangan makers while the first building is devoted to selling the sasirangan works that have been made.

The stage system is used using oversteak. this is chosen to give the impression of floating on the building. Due to this condition, the distance between the stage columns is made tight and connected with tight beams in order to support the distribution of the load on it.

In compiling the “nata bata”, the pattern is arranged by drilling the bricks first, then paired or tied with iron reinforcement. Then do the casting of cement to reinforce the strength of the brick arrangement.

Conseptual Project -

The expression house is a conceptual house designed on a limited land with a simple formation. With this simple form, this house tends to have a personal identity. The addition of this identity is also shown on the facade of the building where the walls in certain parts are given mural finishing. The finishing of the mural here is an expressive form of architecture. At one time, a mural could be an identical part of the dirty, delinquent, and destructive context, but here the mural is contextualized as an architectural part that will give its own personal image to the house.

The concept of this house is inspired by the appeal to work from home which makes the house as the first place, second place, and third place of a human being. This house is conceptual to make the house a playful one to accompany daily activities. The concept is applied by creating lots of open space and open plans. The entrance point of this house is also hidden through a pair of roster and is greeted with storage cabinets for shoes, sandals, and so on.

The facade of the building is designed with a simple shape that is combined with white color and the arrangement of the masonry is arranged in a pattern so that it becomes the main charac teristic of the facade.

The attractive design of the bedroom is designed by making the bedroom floor level lower than the ground to display a fish pond. So that the fish pond can be seen as an aquarium that serves as the wall of the bedroom.

The working space area is designed with an industrial concept by displaying an unfinished brick wall. Then given some wall decorations such as paintings and other pictures. in this working space there is also a billiard area that can be used to relax after doing work. This space is also directly related to the rooftop area of the house.

The kitchen of this house is directly related to the dining area, family gathering area and swimming pool and is not limited by walls. It was intentional to give a flexible concept to space.

This working space is also given an opening to provide sufficient natural lighting. In addition, it is also related to the masonry facade area which is limited by the zen space area to incorporate natural elements into the space. In addition to including natural lighting, this sufficient opening also helps for natural air circulation in the room.

This swimming pool is right next to the family gathering room and is covered with bamboo vegetation. The elements of water and vegeta tion are able to give a calm impression to homeowners.

This rooftop is located on the second floor and is used as a relaxing area or play area. Rooftop has direct visuals towards the road and towards the swimming pool in the house. The floor on this rooftop is made of green roof to give the user a natural impression. In addition, there is a vertical garden concept on the roof end wall.

This play area is adjacent to the workspace that can be used as an area to rest or just play with friends or family. The main game is billiards, but there are also musical instruments such as guitars. Games tend to be simple games.

This project is a private project where the aim is to design for the renovation of the prayer room. The main goal is to change the original construction of wood into a permanent building. This project is in Asam-Asam. The final design of the mosque renovation was then included in a company's proposal to help finance the construction.

Plan changes from the existing plan are shown from the highlighted section of the plan. There was the addition of several spaces such as storage space and making an ablution area which previously did not have an ablution area.

The addition of the entrance is also made into 3 main entrance points, each of which is devoted to the prayer area for women and men. Also added is the entrance that is connected to the storage area that allows the imam or prayer room staff to go directly to the front.

There are some special requests for the renovation of this mosque. The first is to make an ablution area that blends with the mosque building area. This is because the initial form of this prayer room did not have an adequate ablution area. The second is to respond where chickens that roam around the prayer room are trying to be prevented from entering the mosque terrace, this is responded by placing a GRC panel with Islamic mosaic motifs in the area of the entrance to the mosque terrace.

Then a tower was also added, as a landmark of the existence of the prayer room and as a place to put speak ers to voice the call to prayer or announcements from the prayer room.

Changes the structure of the prayer room were also carried out, changing what was originally from wood to concrete and masonry. The roof was also changed, which initially used wood to become mild steel material. Because the existing wood has weathered.

Background

The development of the service sector is currently growing rapidly because it is part of the economic sector. One of the service sectors is logistics services such as JNE. PT. JNE has a corporate vision to become a world-class major logistics company, therefore to become a market leader the company will strive to improve the quality of services that are more diverse so that in 2011 and 2012 they are able to achieve the TOP BRAND INDEX of courier services in Indonesia.

Therefore, with the planned Liang Anggang Banjarbaru industrial area, the logistics area is one of the plans. In this design, I chose to plan a warehouse area by taking the brand from JNE.

The JNE office is divided into two floors, the first floor is used for publicservices in the public zone and there is a packaging/receiving zone forpackages. On the 2nd floor is used for office activities by employees. Thewhole system is set up and done there technically.

The design characteristics are highlighted through the facade in the formof a vertical louvre made of composite wood which gives a naturalimpression because it has natural elements.

The design on the site that appears is the result of a response to external analyzes that have been carried out. This response also applies to buildings that appear. To deal with the main climate problem, namely the problem of solar radiation, a solar screening facade is installed in the building in order to reduce exposure to solar radiation without reducing the intensity of incoming natural light, so that here the building is still forced to face lengthwise to the west and east even though this direction is a the direction where the radiation intensity is greatest.

DESIGN CONSEPT.

Departing from the conclusion of the problem, where the problem created is how to design a university library that has optimal building performance in the Banjarbaru microclimate environment and considers sustainable architectural aspects, the Lambung Mangkurat University library building will carry the conceptof mo-re.

There are 3 main keywords in this concept, namely more, modern and green. The meaning of the word modern here is to create a form of modern or contemporary building with simple formations so that it is timeless. The word green means a thought towards sustainable architecture and responses to the site. Regarding sustainable architecture, library buildings have several features that support this. The third main keyword, namely more, stands for modern & green, symbolizing an expectation that the Lambung Mangku rat University library building will become a building that has advantages with the presence of features and designs that arise because of the response. These advantages can also relate well to the context of the actors in the library environment and environmental conditions, both inside and outside the site.

This house consists of two and a half floors, where on the first floor is devoted to public areas such as the living room and family room. Then the kitchen and dining area are also placed on the 1st floor. There is also a zen space area which is a point of interest on the 1st floor.

Before reaching the 2nd floor, there is a mezzanine area on the first and a half floors that is used for work activities. On the 2nd floor of this house is devoted to bedrooms and several bathrooms.

Background

The design of the creative hub in Banjarbaru was motivated by seeing the preferences of young people today with creative and collaborative work. This creative hub aims to be a place for character building, a productive place, a place of escape that can provide benefits, a place for gatherings to share creative ideas, development, build relationships and so on so as to be able to give a united effect to a group of young people designed using this method. architectural program accompanied by the concept of in motion. The program concept has two main principles, namely experience space which relies on visual actors on physical properties and the principle of collaborative space. Conceptual methods and principles will lead to designs with a non-monotonous impression of space and encourage actors to be creative and collaborative through spatial experiences.

SCHEMATIC CONSEPT

The concept of in motion has two main principles, namely experience space and collaborative space. Fractions of the main principles of the concept of in motion include psychological, social, material, value, mental, and intellectual aspects. To achieve the principle of experience space, the human senses approach can be used which includes the visual sense, the sense of hearing, the sense of smell, and the sense of touch on physical properties. Furthermore, the physi cal properties referred to architecturally talk about aspects of material, texture, color, shape, solid-void, exploration, enticement, and movement.

To achieve the principle of collaborative space using strategy design of spaces, elements, and concepts. If it is related between the two principles of experience space and collaborative space, both have system attachments. Thus the concept of in motion will be a concept that is able to encourage a space to be not monotonous and trigger effects on actors to be more creative.

The interior design concept is a program for the concept of ambience or indoor atmo sphere. Based on the problem, the basic ambience of space is in the context of creative and collaboration. Based on this, the concept of space ambience was developed to become a design grid. There are 4 concepts of indoor ambience that are carried out, namely pleasant, creative, flexible ambience, as well as response programs for the visual senses, the senses of hearing, the senses of smell, and the human sense of touch.

CO WORKING & COMMUNITY SPACE

This building is the main building which is functionally divided into two, namely for co-working space and community space. The co-working space area is devoted to mutual discussion between young people in general. While the community space area is devoted to activities and is a provider of facilities needed by communities such as painting, dance, music, and photos.
