What sets your firm apart from other architects with similar experience? Personalization approach. Each project is treated like a new born. Utmost care, consideration and looking after until it stands on its own columns. Designs that are not only timely delivered. But functional and practical while still aesthetically pleasing most creating a landmark of their own.
What are the steps in the design process, and how are they organized? The client brief is obviously given utmost importance and the clients wants are first clearly understood. Then the qualified team for the job is appointed who does a complete research including the surrounding areas, location, accessibility, weather and other required factors are studies an aesthetically practical and functional design is proposed to the client.
Do you regularly integrate low or no cost sustainable design strategies into projects? Ofcourse. We have always been proposing sustainable options in our designs even before the concept of sustainiability was highlighted in Indian markets. It is reflected in our one of the oldest tower – Shreepati Arcade which was also listed in the Limca book of records 2003, we had at that time incorporated sensors, water recycling, harvesting, bus bars taking a step towards a greener more sustainable environment. As of today, we still constantly propose sustainable designs in every project designed by us. Any and every contribution however small eventually makes a difference. We all ned to remember that.
Considering the many areas that may be affected by sustainable design, how will you determine which options to pursue? The most practical ones obviously. Keeping in mind factors like location, accessibility. In the end of the day, it’s the clients call.
What do you think is the most effective way of presenting a project?

Renders are dominating todays architectural field. They especially play a very important role in simple and clear understanding of the final design. Not everyone is blessed with an amazing imagination. It also helps keep any unrequired misunderstanding out. It has greatly helped builders with the marketing

Thanks to technology and its final products. Nothing gives a better impression than a walk through and 3D renders. The latest technology of 3 D printing is also contributing to greater and better understanding of a projects and design.

The design of this hotel combined with the strategic location of the building has thus rendered it the most popular and sort after destination for not only the regular business traveler but also for families on outings and functions. Hotel Express Inn got such an overwhelming response that the client purchased another property in its vicinity creating phase 2 now connected with a sky walk on the 2nd floor. The first building comprises of an innovatively planned hotel with over 100 guest rooms including suites, fine dining restaurants and banquet halls which create a superlative ambience. While the second building comprises of rooms, health club, temperature controlled outdoor swimming pool, banquet halls, multipurpose hall, conference rooms as well as a landscaped podium. The use of a palette of recyclable material, such as stone, steel and wood, as well as glass, creates a strong sense of transparency on arrival.The front façade of the hotel done up in glass adds to the Unique Selling Proposition (USP) of the structure whilethe water body at the entranceradiates a calm relaxing feeling.
On entering the enormous double height entrance lobby one can experience modernity combined with an aura of warmth, a thorough specialty of Kabul. Nothing could spell out welcome better than this grandeur lobby which gives us a potential glimpse of what lies ahead. Further from the lobby is the 24 hour multi cuisine coffee shop â&#x20AC;&#x201C; Aster an extension of the lobby which has a very chic counter and live kitchen. It is as freshly designed as the flower it is named after. Like the flower which in the month of October when the leaves begin to fall and the sky begins to darken livens up the surrounding with its lovely pastel colours. This coffee shop too on entering immediately rejuvenates one taking away any tiredness. The pastel red lamps hanging in clusters of 9 radiates positive energy making one immediately fall in love with its mystical surroundings. The large brown armchairs are extremely comfortable and cozy giving a perfect homely feeling. If one is looking for more than just a cup of coffee ,Kansar - the executive Indian thalirestaurant on the ground floor has been designed with an external entry to it is the perfect place to be. The interiors are on modern lines with a touch ofan ethnic style. The grill work is kept constant even on the chandeliers to match the flow of the design giving lovely sophisticated look. Designed using free flowing form and pattern a total contrast to the remaining areas is the lounge bar which is located on the first floor. During the day natural light illuminates the place creating interesting patterns of light and shadow while at night the subtle ambient light encourages an intimate yet vivacious ambiance. The ceiling in curvy form and niches binds the place together. The lounge chairs seem to be made from the form taken out of the ceiling. The colours used are white, natural grey and mauve with frosted glass and metal for an understated opulence.
