HOUSING AT NAS CORPUS CHRISTI IS LOCATED IN THREE ON-BASE NEIGHBORHOODS COASTAL CAY, SAFE HARBOR, AND LAGUNA SHORES. THERE ARE 136 TWO-BEDROOM, 70 THREE-BEDROOM, AND 51 FOURBEDROOM UNITS WITHIN THOSE AREAS.

and four bedroom units as part of the project, and 100 pre-existing two-bedroom units and 5 Senior Officer Quarters which were transferred to the partnership. Two of the Senior Officer Quarters are vacant, pending a decision to renovate. With the exception of the Senior Officer Quarters and a small number of units designated for Field Grade (0 -4/0 -5) officers, all Public Private Venture units are mixed grade housing. Housing at NAS Corpus Christi is located in three on-base neighborhoods Coastal Cay, Safe Harbor, and Laguna Shores. There are 136 two-bedroom, 70 three-bedroom, and 51 four-bedroom units within those areas. Floor plans in the Coastal Cay and Safe Harbor neigh borhoods range from 1,488 square feet for two-bedroom townhouses to 1,798 square feet for four-bedroom single family homes. The 100 Laguna Shores
units are two-bedroom floor plans ranging from 950 to 980 square feet. Pets are allowed in all homes with certain restrictions and deposits. Unit amenities include frost-free refrigerator w/ icemaker, range, dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave oven, washer/dryer connections, ceiling fans, and mini-blinds. (Note for Laguna Shores units-no microwave oven provided; not all refrigerators have icemakers.) Flooring types includes ceramic tile, vinyl, and carpet. Units have central air/ heating systems and are prewired for telephone and cable. Handicap units are available. A large Community Center, located in Building 3600, is available for use by residents-reservations must be made through the Leasing Office.
