otably lower than most other areas in terms of median selling price, the Tri-Cities of Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody offer great value despite the region’s recent new transit connection, the Evergreen Line. Of the 912 condo-apartment sales in the region from May 1 to August 31 (as of September 15), the median selling price point was $468,400, which is actually lower than the previous four months. However, townhouse median

selling prices went up by $70K to $695,000. Port Moody was home to the priciest attached unit sale of the period. In July, three-bedroom penthouse unit in Port Moody centre, with nearly 700 square feet of terraces and amazing views, sold for $1.66 million after four days. Of the 1,283 total attached Tri-Cities home sales during those four months, just 17 went for over $1 million, whereas 598 went for under $500,000.
