The programme includes Aldemaro Romero’s infectious, Latin-infused Fuga con Pajarillo, Samuel Barber’s Adagio for Strings, Gustav
Holst’s Gigue, and film scores from Jurassic Park and The Mission, Downton Abbey and War Horse, as well as irrepressible folk tunes all under one inspiring roof. Make way also for The Revellers, ‘Revelation Strings’ very own ‘Mini Me’ – beginner and intermediate string players, the musicians of the future playing like there’s no tomorrow!

The Lobkowitcz Quartet are a new, exciting and vibrant ensemble with a mutual passion for creating and performing chamber music. They formed at the Birmingham Conservatoire and are truly international, bringing together musicians and styles from Czech Republic, Argentina, England and South Africa. The group are thrilled to be performing Haydn’s magnificent late quartet Op. 77, no.1, along with Schumann’s graceful and irresistible third quartet Op. 41, no. 3.
Gather round and enjoy an afternoon of captivating classical music! Local up-andcoming musicians take you on an adventure exploring intimate solo performances of Bach, the beauty of Baroque arias by Handel and Monteverdi, and the passionate and fiery works of Brazilian composer Villa-Lobos.
