Sponsorship Opportunities The goal of the Waffles & Wishes Breakfast Fundraiser and Silent Auction is to secure the funds necessary to grant the wishes of at least 20 local children in Northern Nevada battling life-threatening medical conditions. To reach this goal, Make-A-Wish is looking for sponsors at varying levels to provide support for wishes to be granted at the event and wishes to be granted in the 6 to 12 months following the event. Due to the generous donations of our Event Sponsors – the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa, KNPB, and Rev-3 Imaging, 100% of sponsorship gifts made prior to the event and all of donations secured the day of the event will go directly to granting wishes.

Isaac was just one of more than 40 children in Northern Nevada waiting for their wish to come true last year. His incredible story truly shows the amazing things that can happen when we Share the Power of a Wish®!

It was no surprise that when asked what he might like for a wish, Isaac shared his love of travel, animals, museums and exploring. He likes to use his hands and discover how things work. To make sure Isaac would have the wish of a lifetime, Make-A-Wish surprised him with a real adventure; a California Roadtrip!

Isaac is a vibrant 3-year-old boy from Reno, Nevada. This little boy and his family have faced many challenges in his young life. Isaac has been battling liver cancer and has made many trips over the past years to receive treatment. While he doesn’t like visiting the doctor for treatments, he does love staying in hotels. Especially one’s with elevators!
We ask that our generous Presenting, Wish and Table Sponsors, along with our Table Captain volunteers work to secure the participation of guests who will be interested in giving the day of the event to help ensure that every eligible local child receives his or her wish. In addition to raising funds through sponsorships, our goal is to have EVERY ONE of the 50+ tables at the event raise $1,000 each in day of event donations. Select your sponsorship level and help change the lives of children in a dramatic and everlasting way. Wishes have been proven to not only provide a lasting positive memory, but have been proven to help children with life-threatening conditions get better! At Waffles & Wishes 2013 we granted Isaac’s wish for a California Road Trip with his family. This year we will surprise another special child with the wish of his or her lifetime. Scarlett’s condition causes her to fight muscles that refuse to relax, and frequently spasm. This discomfort, however, is soothed in warm water. Because Scarlett so loves the water and her aquatic therapy classes, her one true wish was for a hot tub in her backyard. The warm water soothes Scarlett’s tight muscles, and gives her a place where she can relax and spend time with her family.

Trevor loves baseball and the San Francisco Giants. For his wish, Trevor knew just what he wanted: a Giants experience that would let him see his favorite team in a very special way. Trevor attended a Giants game where he was welcomed into the dugout and on the giant screen of the stadium, met the team’s star players and owner, and even got a jersey featuring the number of his fovorite player!
