Getting Into Genealogy Workshop

Did you know that Seekonk Library has a subscription to Ancestry.com’s Ancestry Library? Now is the perfect time to dive into that family tree project you’ve always wanted to start or that you’ve gotten stuck in. To help you on your journey, attend the Getting Into Genealogy program at Seekonk Library on Wednesday, April 13 at 6:30 PM. This program will be presented by the Bristol chapter of the Massachusetts Society of Genealogists. Registration is preferred, but not required to attend this program generously sponsored by The Friends of the Seekonk Public Library. A grant from the Seekonk Cultural Council and the Massachusetts Cultural Council makes possible the presentation of Poetry of People and Places – A Visit with Holman Day – to be included by the Seekonk Library in their Adult Cultural Program of 2016. The one hour program is scheduled for 6:30 pm on Thursday, April 14, 2016 as part of National Poetry Month.
