Scouts Continued from Page 58 “Boy Scouts from Troop 55 Riverside have been busy over the last month.
Scouts participated in their monthly campout which took place at Buck Hill in Chepatchet. Even though the bugs were difficult the scouts had fun. However, the highlight of their time was spent building a handicap ramp for a former Scoutmaster who lives in Warren. The scouts and adult leaders did all of the work from digging footings, mixing and pouring concrete to building the actual ramp. The ramp was made possible by donations from companies such as Lowe’s, Home Depot, Arnold Lumber and the Bristol County Lions Club. It was a great example of Scouts giving back to somebody who gave so much to Scouting. Great Job Scouts!
