Cara Kennedy and fiancé Todd Heckendorn own and operate I Bean Grounded, a café and art gallery which recently celebrated its one year anniversary in Reno’s Riverwalk District. The couple have a stellar lineup of artists and openings for this spring and beyond that is certain to attract a broad mix of art aficionados county wide. Artist Kim Fields is an exciting talent known for her "Transfigurations" and will be displaying March 16th through April 31st in the gallery. Fields, an artist and art educator who resides in Reno, Nevada, received her BFA from the University of Georgia's Lamar Dodd College of Art. People can preview her art at www.kimfields.net.

Toni Gonyea is an alternative photographer that magically creates art with photography and will leave you in amazement of her talents. Toni's art will be displayed May 1st through June 30th. Toni's Dragonfly Creative Photography Studio can be found at dfcphotography.com. Artists of America bring fifteen local emerging artists who will be displaying their work July 1st through July 31st. The gifted photographer John Keesee of Fish Head 310 Photography, who teams up with Pamela Love, creates abstract photography that asks the viewer questions or inspires mystery in the mind of the observer. “I Bean Grounded is delighted that we have booked John Keesee for August 1st -31st,” says Kennedy, “as his work is so unique.” Keesee’s art can be viewed at www.fishhead310.com More than your average coffee house, I Bean Grounded features many specialty drinks for customers to enjoy. Try their special “Spicy Mexican Mocha Frappe” made with your favorite kind of milk. It’s truly delicious. For March and April they will be offering $4.00 Frappe’s, like the “Neapolitan” made with vanilla, strawberry and chocolate sauce, or try the “Raspberry Mocha Frappe.” Their coffee supplier is The Hub Roasters, which is always fantastic to the taste buds and good for the soul. They also offer almond milk, soy milk, fat free milk, and whole vitamin D milk, as well as sugar free vanilla, hazelnut, and caramel flavors to sweeten things up without the sugar.
