Boys & Girls CluB of TruCkee Meadows
The film festival correlates directly with the Digital Arts Program run through the Boys & Girls Club of America. Each year beginning in February our technology coordinator runs a one week film camp at each of the BGCTM sites. Each site spends the first day crafting their story and how it will be told. Day two the team writes a script and begins preparing to shoot the film days 3 - 5. Finally, the technology coordinator edits the film the following week putting the clips together, adding audio and visual effects. The product of each of these camps is a film that is presented to a panel of judges. The judges award each film for its best accomplishments.
