6/08:Nevada State Fair Kick off summer with Highlights include the the annual state fair in Carson City. opening ceremony on Thursday, June 8, the Wild West Wine Run on the V&T Train on Saturday, June 10, and the Nevada State Fair Car Show from Friday-Sunday, June 9-11. Another big draw is the Rendezvous, a living history event featuring Civil War re-enactments (pictured), Western-themed gunfights and horseback cavalry shows, a Mountain Man encampment and Native American dancing and crafts, which takes place all four days of the fair. There will also be carnival rides, live music and entertainment, food, games, contests and exhibits. The fair is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., June 8-11, at Mills Park, 1111 E. USA Cycling calendar for pros, aspiring pros, nationally ranked amateurs and the average Joe and Josephine who want to see how they do in a real race.
