The 31st annual festival features a weekend of performances by national and regional bluegrass and Americana acts. The event kicks off with a free show featuring Ricochet starting at 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 12, at Davis Creek Park, 25 Davis Creek Road. The main event takes place from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 13, at Bowers Mansion, 4005 Old Highway 395, Washoe Valley. Performers include John Reischman & The Jaybirds (pictured), Bluegrass Etc., The Special Consensus and Run Boy Run. Tickets are $25. Admission is free for kids under age 12.
