NEW TEACHER SPOTLIGHT: MEET MRS. SANKIEWICZ
by reginahs
By Greta Hellebuyck '24
Every month the Regina Reporters have put a spotlight on a new teacher at Regina High School. For the final issue of the Regina Report, English teacher, Ms. Sankiewicz is the center of our piece. Ms. Sankiewicz is the newest teacher within the English program, teaching regular, honors, and Advanced Placement classes for the freshman and junior classes.
Why did you want to teach at Regina? I love the Regina community because it is so close knit and friendly. I have had an amazing experience being here; learning the traditions and getting to be part of the community. Especially during Powerpuff which is my favorite tradition I've gotten to learn about.
What do you like to do outside of school?
I really enjoy shopping with my sister and my niece. I keep myself active by coaching dance or relaxing by spending time with my cat Kiwi Marie.
What are you most looking forward to this summer?
I am so excited for my wedding! We are taking our honeymoon in Disney World and it's going to be incredible!
The whole Regina community would like to thank Ms. Sankiewicz for her part in making this school year memorable, her continued passion for Regina, and we wish her all the best this summer.
