NEW TEACHER SPOTLIGHT: MEET MS. ROTHE

By Olivia Kulla '25

For the next part in our series of interviews on some of the new faces here at Regina, we decided to shine a spotlight on the newest face in our History Department- Ms. Rothe! We asked her a handful of questions in order to get to know her and here are some highlights:

How do you like working at Regina so far?

I love it. This is one of the few places that practice what they preach. It is a powerful community, and I appreciate working in the atmosphere. Before coming here, I had heard of the concept of sisterhood. After being here for one semester I have learned that this concept of sisterhood is true

What is your favorite class to teach and why?

My favorite class to teach is Government It is a concept that sounds boring but it is very interesting We Really get to dive into politics and get to learn why people are the way they are

If you could choose any superpower what would you choose and why?

I would love to fly. It would be efficient to fly and there are no downsides to flying. I would not want any other power like reading peoples minds because I feel that it would be annoying to hear other people's thoughts.

Do you prefer cats or dogs? Why?

I prefer dogs They are just sunshine in a creature, they are so happy, fun, and innocent I have volunteered in dog shelters and raised service dogs. I love doing this and it makes me very happy.

What would you do if you were the only survivor of a plane crash in a forest?

I don’t have many survival skills so I do not know how long I would last.

If you could eliminate one state, what would it be and why?

I would eliminate Ohio I feel that it is very boring and it never really does anything.
