PERHAPI was founded by mining professionals in 1990, with the vision of making Perhapi as an organization that can develop mining experts who can compete at national and international levels. To realize this vision the organization's activities focus on four main missions: (1) improvement of the organization, (2) the development of competence and integrity enhancement, (3) the development of the mining sector following the principles of sustainable development, and (4) the creation of competitive advantage and the development of networking. Perhapi membership is not limited to mining graduates but includes all graduates of various disciplines (Engineering, Electrical, Civil, Law, Finance, etc.) that interact with the world of mining in Indonesia and abroad.
