1996 Jan. - Redline leads the way in the alloy frame revolution with the debut of three Proline kits. Threadless 1 1/8 stems and forks stake their claim as the "future" for BMX steering systems.

Feb. - CNC’d alloy Microline cranks and Microline alloy stem are added to Redline’s growing list of strong and lightweight components.

May - Greg Hill and Redline negotiate mid-season to sign on John Purse. The Jackal immediately begins flying on his alloy Proline.

Oct. - Redline debuts their customized Boxtruck at the ABA Fallnationals. It features big roll-up doors on the side, displaying Redline gear in the windows. Immediately, it heads out on the road, being driven by Greg Hill to each Speed Seminar and BMX national.

Nov. - Redline supports its first informal cyclocross 5-person team. Nov. -  Original Redline employee and test basher Byron Friday is inducted into the BMX Hall of Fame.

Dec. - Add three more Cyclocross titles to the list.
