ASSISTANT COACH

BRANT COMBS

Coach Combs enters his first season as an assistant on the Redlands Baseball staff. He will serve as the teams Pitching Coach. Combs comes to Redlands from Missouri State University where he spent two years as a graduate assistant under Head Coach Keith Guttin and Pitching Coach Paul Evans. While at Missouri State his duties included working with the pitchers and catchers as well as daily administrative duties including scouting reports, camps, travel and academics. Combs was also the pitching coach of the Forest City Owls in the Coastal Plain League. The Owls won the league championship in 2010, and were first half champions in 2011. As a player, Combs played his final two seasons at Missouri State where he led the team in appearances his senior year and was part of a Missouri Valley Conference Championship in 2008. He began his college career at the University of Missouri and helped the Tigers to a Super Regional in 2006 and a Regional in 2007. Combs earned his Bachelor of Science in Management in 2009, and his Master of Business Administration in 2011 from Missouri State University.

ATHLETIC TRAINER

ELI ZUCKSWORTH

4th SEASON

Fourth year Redlands Community College Head Athletic Trainer, Eli Zucksworth, is responsible for preparing the athletes for both practice and games, while treating on-site injuries. Eli Zucksworth is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) and the Oklahoma Athletic Trainers Association. He is a 2005 graduate of Oklahoma State University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in athletic training. In 2007, he received his Master of Education degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Follow RCCcougar on:
