The Voice of Destiny, died at age 60

Lance Reddick is someone who was instantly recognizable as soon as he opened his mouth. He had a voice almost as recognizable as Morgan Freeman. He was the always stoic and very imposing voice of Commander Zavala in the blockbuster video gaming franchise Destiny. He was also the Hotel manager in the John Wick franchise, with John Wick 4 being his last movie. His earlier roles as Lt. Cedric Daniels in The Wire and Homeland Security Agent, Phillip Broyles in the hit science fiction television series Fringe; were equally memorable. He also played Chief Irvin Irving in the hit Amazon Prime series Bosch. One thing all of his roles have had in common over the last two decades was intensity, created by his unique baritone voice.
