Love came like the misty rains And flooded the river of my heart. It engulfed me with happiness and joy. Oh, the misty rains!

Love crept in with stealthy steps And flooded the river of my heart. It helped me grow in leaps and bounds Oh, the stealthy steps!

Love arrived in its simple garb And flooded the river of my heart. No pomp, no dazzle, no show. Oh, the simple garb!

Love showed up in its mighty strength And flooded the river of my heart. It helped me overcome all hurts and pain. Oh, the mighty strength!
