As summer draws closer, there’s no better time to make the most of the Kingdom’s most impressive waterpark. Beat the heat by enjoying a splashing good time at this Dilmun-themed wonderland. Guests are in for a fun day out as they ride in and out of the waterpark’s numerous attractions. From the relaxing lazy river, to the fastest body slide, there are plenty of reasons to makes guests come back again and again. Families will also enjoy more fun time together with specially made toddler waterslides and cool splashes from the waterpark’s colourful water play structures. The summer also marks an array of events and activities that aim to help visitors make the most of the season. “Lost Paradise of Dilmun is fully-equipped for a fullpledged musical and leisure experience,” says Pierre Vasseur, general manager, LPOD Waterpark. “Since we launched the event it has received tremendous response and guests have flocked in at even higher numbers as expected.” This year’s Summer Festival will run from mid May till June 12, 2015. The event promises to be the highlight of the season with A-list international artists and well-loved Khaleeji singers. Filipino fans are in for an added dose of excitement, as LPOD & Houras Consultancy join together for the “Pinoy Festival” in celebration of Philippines Independence Day on, June 12 2015.
Aside from the already exciting waterpark rides, guests can also enjoy an array of traditional Filipino games and activities with special food stalls offering favourite Filipino foods. For the first time in Bahrain, special guests — model/actor Daniel Matsunaga and highly acclaimed singer/actress Angeline Quinto — will be flown in straight from Manila for the event. The event will also feature resident talents, from DJ’s, bands and Filipino dance groups. To ensure maximum fun, organisers are also offering a free bus ride on the event day with two trips from Gudaibiya to LPOD on a first-come-first-served basis. Filled with fun, music and excitement, the Pinoy Festival is sure to be a hit with guests from across the island.
