MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDING BISHOP

Greetings and best wishes in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ

Welcome to the 26th Annual Holy Convocation of the Ecumenical Church and University. We are excited to join you as we take that great leap forward into the next twenty-five years. It has been a glorious time in worship, service and mission. We have built more churches and university campuses than any of us could have imagined. We have joined hands with hundreds of men and women in licensure and ordination.

In this Convocation, we are joined in person and online with our brothers and sisters in East Africa, Central Africa, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, South America, Central America and the Caribbean. It has been the Lord’s mighty and gracious hand at work in our lives. We have set ourselves to be a container of the Cross Style Message.

Dr. Stephen Manley’s vision of a message driven ministry has changed our perspective. Bishop Charles Mpagi, Asiimwe Evans, David Eyoma and the whole East African crew have made online learning a reality. Bishop Andrew Dev is building a 15,000 square foot building on the Prayer Mountain we purchased over 10 years ago. Our daughter, Jasmine continues on her quest to build 100 primary school in East Africa,

CityLight Men on the Wall chapters and Esther Women of Influence chapters have engaged their communities in entrepreneurial projects that are paying big dividends all over the world.

This year we install a new president of Ecumenical University. God is up to something BIG. Let’s join Him in winning the world to Christ.
