Initial Knot Process
Chipboard Model
This multiple step project began with the inspiration of a knot, continued by reinterpreting the knot with wire, followed with creating a computerized 3D form, then finalized with building a physical model out of chipboard. My final interpretation features the length, wrapping quality, and loop extension that terminates the knot. As my knot is called the Cobra, I emphasized the intimidating qualities of a King Cobra in a striking and dominant position by using a worm’s eye view. This narrative successfuly resonated with my reviewers. Wire Frame Development
