Duraco he ended up in Japan, training on PVC windows. In 1985 he came back to Brandon and bought ownership of J&M. He opened up the second J&M Window and Door Company in Winnipeg in 2004, which his son Ryan Penner now owns and operates.
J&M was set up in 1983 by a very young George Penner, who worked for Duraco, a national window company, at the time. He began his career as a screen roller and eventually became plant manager at Duraco at age 20. With
