Issue One February 2022
Automotive and Education a joint venture Well the ‘Master Plan’ is starting to take shape as we move into the second quarter of 2022. School of Thought have been actively supporting schools with their career events and even more of our ambassadors are starting to engage with schools and colleges. Rachel Murray in Northern Ireland did her first careers event and Cat Treanor from Electude just keeps on supporting schools. Steve Plunkett from Volvo continues to support his local school as a mentor and Mike Yorke from Outsorc was at a jobs fair at RAF Cosford. During Careers Week we paid a visit to Coleg Gwent Crosskeys and Newport Campuses and met with their level 1, 2 and 3 students all looking to make their way in the industry and followed that with a visit to Bridgewater College to meet many of their students. These are our future technicians.
