Seasons of the Womb

By Shawna - GED student

The heat of the summer brought me muggy thoughts of how my life would change forever.

Sadness and uncertainty filled my emotions, overwhelming thoughts filled my mind.

As the seasons changed so did my love for you.

Joy seemed as far as springs next blossom, within sight but unable to grasp.

The beautiful colors of fall change as fast as you grow.

As cold wisps of winter air draws near, your strong kicks give me warmth.

A bundle of joy that will be brought to me by cupids bow.

Through the sadness You’ve brought me more happiness the I could’ve every imagined.

A bond that grew threw the seasons And a love that will last a lifetime.
