Dear Fellow SHP Alumni, As The Prep’s Director of Alumni Relations, I take this opportunity to thank all the dedicated alumni who have given so much of their time, talent and financial support during this past year. Your commitment to The Prep has assisted in its continued growth, success and recognition as a school offering an exceptional education for over 150 years. The Prep’s dedicated faculty and administrative staff have been instrumental in preparing our young men for the many challenges facing them in college and the future. Without the generous support of our alumni, many young men would not be able to afford the fine education that you and I have had the opportunity to experience. Your support is also invaluable in helping us retain the very high quality of our faculty, whose average tenure is more than 17 years. The Alumni Office offers variety of events during the year to keep you connected to The Prep Community. The activities range from Class Reunions, the Athletic Hall of Fame Dinner and Homecoming, to Golden Knights Luncheons, Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot, Young Alumni Day, Vacation Travel and the Spring Golf Outing, as well as the many alumni sports team reunions. In addition, we have begun a Mentoring Program for the benefit of our Young Alumni. It is designed so that alumni who are established in their professions can give back to The Prep by volunteering their time to guide Young Alumni in career-related issues. The Mentoring Program can be a very rewarding experience for a mentor as he watches the growth of a young alumnus on a career path that may very well parallel his own. I encourage our alumni to stay connected to The Prep by joining the alumni group on LinkedIn, by following SHP at shp.org and on Facebook, and by getting involved with the many events that are offered by the Alumni Office. Thank you for your continued support and generosity to Seton Hall Prep.
Rich Koles ‘69 Director of Alumni Relations
