The RBS Office of Communications & Marketing utilizes an integrated communications and marketing strategy to carry out Dean Lei’s strategic priorities:

• Preeminence: Raise RBS visibility, brand impact & value of degree • Enrollment Growth: Recruit top prospective students for all programs • Social Impact: Ensure access to business education through diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and public-private partnerships that strengthen our communities • Lifelong Learning: Make continuous learning & reinvention part of the RBS DNA • Alumni Engagement: Develop a communications ecosystem that promotes alumni involvement • Culture: Create an environment where students, parents, alumni, faculty & staff are proud of RBS

This encompasses branding, strategic communications, public and media relations, story and video creation, social media, traditional and digital marketing, website content and management for our 16 graduate programs, two undergraduate programs, Ph.D. and DBA programs, the new Rutgers Stackable Business Innovation (rSBI) program and support for executive education (RBSEE). Our team creates and publishes the RBS Impact Report magazine; manages web technology and infrastructure for all sites to create meaningful web user experiences; and by partnering with the Office of Information Technology (OIT) oversees digital communications that integrate with Salesforce. We also provide branding and support to Rutgers Business Review; help promote RBS’s 22 research centers; partner with RBS Development and the Office of Alumni & Corporate Engagement to communicate effectively to alumni and are connected in some way to every department inside RBS.
