TheDecember2019Innovation Challengewas“Fun atRBS,” and theJanuaryfocuswason “Improving theStudentExperience.” Wehave all pondered mattershereatRBSand casuallyproposed ourideastofriendsand coworkers. TheRBSInnovativeChallengeisan exciting chancetoreallyhaveyourvoicesheard and ameaningful wayforyou to contributetothesuccessofRBS. RBS Family Retreat On Friday, September27th Dean Lei hosted theInaugural RBSFacultyand Staffs RetreatatForsgateCountryClubin MonroeTownship, NewJersey. Thegoal ofthe afternoon retreatwastobring facultyand stafftogetherin arelaxed and positive atmospheretocelebrate“Team RBS”. Facultyand staffparticipated in activitiesdesigned toencouragecollegialityand fun. Thedayended with theRBS Bannerflyover!
Collecting for a Cause Beta Gamma Sigma will behosting aSuppliesDrivefortheentiremonth ofFebruary. From February7toMarch 6, BGSwill becollecting blankets, outerwear(e.g. jackets, gloves, scarves, hats), and feminineproductsin the RBSundergraduateoffice. Pleasehelpsupportthiscauseforhomelessand women’sshelters. Donationscan bedropped offattheUndergarduateOffice at100Rock.

Muddy Paws Rescue Congratulations Hannah Murphy and family on winning Petco Foundation’s Muddy Paws Rescue competition ($25,000 grant). The Murphys shared their story with the Petco Foundation on how their dog Hudson changed their lives when they began running together, shortly after their son B was born. “Our goal is to help end the stigma of rescue dogs.” Hudson is one of 50 winners across the U.S. and their story won third place.
