Mosdos Ohr HaTorah When Rabbi Avraham Fishman zt”l laid the cornerstone for Mosdos Ohr Hatorah, over thirty five years ago, little could he have envisioned what we have become. Over the last three decades, Mosdos has evolved from a fledgling institution to a flagship model of chinuch. Now impacting its second generation, the Cheder is passing on the glowing legacy of our mesorah in all its beauty and vitality. Its mission: to create upstanding and productive Ovdei Hashem. Though the challenges are immense, we neither relinquish our commitment nor rest on past accomplishments. Innovation and growth surround all decisions; yesterday’s results are never good enough. The esteemed Hanhalah and dedicated Rebbeim, Moros, and teachers are on a continuous path of tirelessly seeking yet even better skills and methods to enhance our children’s education. The fire of Torah and the joy and spirit of Yiddishkeit are ignited within our very hallways and classrooms. The foundations of emunah and Yiras Shomyim and our interactions with others, are building blocks in shaping and molding our children. Producing students who care has always been the raison d’être of our Rebbeim, Moros, and teachers. Every child is viewed as a unique individual— a vital part of the Mosdos legacy. With an array of extracurricular programs, learning contests, G.O., Shabbatons, production, and Rosh Chodesh assemblies – each child is assured a special niche in which to shine.
