Fifth Year Architecture Project
Senior housing complex
The project involved designing a modern retirement complex, where the elderly could socialize and relax. The site features 2 main residential modules, a restaurant module , workshops and much much more.

The concept behind the small squari was to have an interior garden space avoiding the feel that you are stuck b walls while offering the maximum nat possible, thus the solution to have C module. This way the module has an garden with a perspective view of the ings while benefiting from natural ligh
By having a curved building shape, the extra long corridors appear shorter due to the continous perspective being interrupted. All rooms benefit from more sunlight, not only at mid day but also at sunrise and sunset. The curved shape, provides an excellent panoramic view of the stunning surroundings.

The site is situated near the Lake Sauaieu and it has the following facilities: 1.resting area 2.workshops 3. multi purpose room 4. lecture room 5. pool 6. nursery 7. restaurant 8. agriculture ďŹ elds 9. administration 10. reception 11. coffee shop 12. chapel 13. main residential modules 14. building module for people with special needs 15. parking area 16. docks 17. parking 18. side entrace for maintenance

care of elderly people reside, this main area also serves as a waiting area. Each oor tle green area between them and their neightboor.
