Conclusion
from Systematic Growth
by Ray Green
So now you have the framework to implement a growth system that will increase sales in a sustainable and scalable way. There are certainly other ways to get numbers that look good on paper, and that maybe (if you’re lucky) won’t blow anything up right away. But if you are looking for reliability with those numbers, then the approach I’ve outlined here is your best bet.
Now, I want to reiterate that this wasn’t intended to be a paint-bynumbers template. This is the framework I use with clients, but we always end up with a unique approach to this framework because every engine may use the same laws of physics, but the configurations and parts make a dramatic impact. Every car is different. Likewise, every company, industry, and phase in the growth curve requires fine-tuning to have maximum impact.

Several variables can have a big impact on how well a growth system operates, namely the Environment in which you are operating (which I refer to as culture) and the Direction in which you are headed (which I refer to as strategy). These two elements are also part of the framework I use with clients (and conveniently make the full system’s acronym JACKED), but given the importance and scope of each, they will get their own books subsequent to launching this one. Suffice it to say, even a growth system with perfectly designed components
can present problems if the basic elements necessary to guide it in the right direction and keep it churning aren’t in place.
But after accounting for these considerations, these are still the guidelines you want to follow (with some customization) when you are building or repairing your systems. Many people will take this framework and run with it on their own. I hope it serves as a directional guide to do just that. If the only thing I’ve done is influence just a couple of businesses to get back to basics and offer real value to their customers, we will have done good here.
If you need more than a directional guide and want to implement some of the principles I’ve outlined, as luck would have it, that’s what I specialize in. With the help of my team, we can help provide a diagnosis, make repairs, rebuild your engine, or custom build one according to your goals.
