Corvallis High School Top Students Madison Channer
is the daughter of Luke and Jennifer Channer of Corvallis. Her GPA is 4.0 and she is a valedictorian at Corvallis High School. She participated in the following activities: President of National Honor Society, Interact Club, Treasurer of Junior Soroptimist Club, Track and Field, Wrestling Manager, Athletic Student Trainer for four years, Science Olympiad – state competitor for four years. She has received the following awards: Valedictorian for the Class of 2015, Advanced Placement Scholars Award, Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen Award, Academic All-State for four years, Big Sky Foxtrotter Association - Reserve Grand Champion in Pleasure Versatility (2013), Hunter/Jumper Association Grand Champion (local) (2012 and 2014). She was awarded the Montana State University Premier Scholarship and the Montana University System Honors Scholarship. Her future goals: “I plan to go to Montana State University in Bozeman for Nursing. My long term goals are to earn a graduate degree in the healthcare field and then travel back to Haiti on an extended Medical Missionary trip.”
Jesse Knapp is the
son of Jim Knapp and Michele Knapp of Corvallis. His GPA is 4.0 and he is a valedictorian of Corvallis High School. He participated in: Speech and Debate, Tennis, Orchestra, Science Olympiad, Model United Nations and National Honor Society. He has received scholarship and awards: MSU Honor Scholarship, Black Mountain Scholarship, State Champion in Memorized Public Address in Speech. His future goals are to study Public Policy/Economics and Computer Science at Montana State University in Bozeman.
