an outdoorsy girl with a love for telling stories.
I spend most days in a sleepy little surf town called Kailua with my husband, a pilot who nerds out on all things movie related and loses it over fluffy dogs like our corgi Maebel. We also have two birdies and dude are they weird. Finnley is basically a feathery R2-D2 and Hunter likes to tell very animated stories complete with dancing and wing popping. We all live together in a home that was built in the 50s, so we’ve come to appreciate simplicity ;) I have a thing for the ocean and paddle boarding is my favorite way to experience it. Hiking is also my jam and there's nothing I love more than getting outdoors. We're a bit obsessed with craft breweries, too, so I can tell you all about where to grab a celebratory brew post-elopement. Oh, and I called out my guy for being nerdy but the truth is, so am I (think Guardians of the Galaxy + Final Fantasy). Also, I can't pass up a dad joke. Or a good pun. Puns are fun. I feel my truest self when I’m taking in views on a mountainside with a couple, I feel like I was made to document the moments they’ll share. It’s my job to show people the strength + beauty they hold, how beautiful their unique love is when allowed to shine through. I love capturing authentic, intricate moments and the in- between. The beautifully messy moments, you know - the real stuff. I want you to have images filled with you - whether that’s silly, playful laughter or quiet, intimate moments or both because we all have so many facets that make us who we are. Everyone has a story to tell, but what really makes an impact is how you tell that story. Imagery is one of the most powerful ways we can share a story with our family, our friends, and with the world. Imagery speaks in ways that words cannot. And what you communicate in a story should resonate as a reflection of who you are. This is why I want to get to know you as a couple, really get to know you, and create an experience that is personal and authentic to who you are. This is a big decision. Of all the things you'll experience with an elopement, photography is the only one that will breathe life into your memories. It’s how you’ll be able to show your family + friends this priceless moment in your life. You'll want to invest in this and carefully choose the photographer who will fit your needs and wants. I see elopement photography a little differently. Rather than posing you in weird, prom-like poses and snapping perfect images of the two of you smiling at the camera, I believe in getting to know you a bit so we can create images full of authenticity. I focus more on creating a space for the two of you to truly connect and be yourselves. At the end of the day, the moments matter more to me than “perfect shots” because in this process, I invest in you. I want you to have those moments preserved in artful images because they'll mean the world when you look back through your day. I want that for you because you mean so much more to me than the work I'll do in the hours we spend together and after, so much more than dollars. Why? I'm just built that way. The above packages are sorted by hours and how many images you’ll receive, but each one also includes some perks. Living here on the islands, I have a unique eye for different locations + the time to explore them. With every elopement, I am able to provide personalized lists of locations should you need a little help with where to elope! I can help you narrow down which island suits you best. Together, we can design a timeline to explore just one or several spots. It will definitely be an adventure true to the two of you! I’ve also had the pleasure of working with many of the islands best creatives. I can help recommend a florist to make haku lei dreams come to life + craft the florals you envision for the day or suggest just the right officiant based on your preferences. I’m able to put together a list of professionals in each specialty to fit exactly the experience you’re looking for. These recommendations also come with each elopement booking. It’s not just about the day of stuff, though. Being a local also means recommendations of the fun sort! I’ve helped with everything from providing some amazing snorkeling spots to helping couples figure out the best spot to celebrate with dinner after a day of adventuring. FAQ
Q: How many images will we get? A: There is a minimum listed by the package/session. The reason I use a minimum is that I don't want to put a limit on how many images I'll give you. I won't leave anything out! You’ll never be charged extra for things like highresolution downloads. Q: What does the custom shop include? A: You'll be able to shop calendars, prints, canvas, and other designs right from your online gallery! It's super simple to order everything. Q: How are payment schedules structured? A: A 50% deposit is required to hold your date. The remaining balance is due one month prior to the date of your wedding or session. Monthly payment plans are available for the 50% balance upon request. Q: How do you accept payment? And what about tips? A: I accept payments online via bank transfer or credit card. If you would like to pay by check or cash, just let me know and we can make arrangements. Tips are easiest when they’re cash. Q: Do you give RAWs? A: I do not. Editing is a huge part of my process and I have a style that is integral to my art. It'd be kind of like giving you just the materials for a pair of jeans instead of that awesome pair of Madewell jeans you want. I promise I'll include everything you could want or need in your gallery. Q: What do we do if it’s raining on our elopement day? A: I include up to one hour coverage for delays due to inclement weather. For each additional hour, an hourly rate applies. Another option? Embrace it! If you're game, so am I. Sometimes, images in the rain can evoke very strong emotion and look so beautiful. Q: Does it cost to have you travel to our wedding? How much? A: It does! I have flat rate travel fees to cover the cost of flight, transportation, and staying near the area we’ll be working together. SEE PRICING ABOVE FOR FEES.
Q: Are you insured? A: Yep, I carry a $1,000,000 policy. Q: Will you help us plan? A: I've got you. I’m happy to help with planning and vendor recommendations after we’re all booked! Q: How do we pick photo locations? A: If you have somewhere specific in mind, you are welcome to choose your locations! Otherwise, I spend a lot of time scouting locations and venues to choose the best possible spots for light and aesthetics. I am always happy to provide ideas and locations!

Let me know which collection and any add ons you'd like to book and I'll send you a proposal so you can do this all online, easy peasy. If travel is required, we'll book that next. After that, it's on to the fun stuff. We'll start making plans to capture your love story in an authentic + beautiful way!
