Play Violin The violin is often the basis for the orchestra and can be one of the most rewarding instruments to play. It takes dedication to learn to play violin. You need to be willing to commit to practicing everyday in order to improve. To learn to play violin online, it will not happen overnight. Start with playing it slowly and eventually you’ll get better. In any aspect of playing the violin you wish you learn, it is a must for you to break it up into sections and small doable ways. As you learn the violin ( learn to drive, dance, play football….) you will make mistakes, you will mess up and ( worst of all) you will be tempted to forget it and just move on. DON’T! Bad habits gained as you learn to play violin are horribly difficult to erase later on. Learn the violin correctly, go back and put right the little errors and your playing the violin will soon delight you and all who hear you. Verified Purchase(What’s this?) This review is from: Merano MV10 4/4 (Full) Size Acoustic Student Violin with Hard Case and Bow+Free Rosin+Extra E String This violin is, from the first glance, obviously not a professional-grade instrument. However, once you make some adjustments to the string placements, it plays rather well for its price. Tone is good, resonance is better. I have had no troubles with string or bow breakage. In fact, the only troubles I really have had were with the spacing of the strings (which I fixed by cutting new resting notches into the bridge and the fingerboard nut) and some slipping of the pegs (also easily fixed, by coating the pegs themselves with chalk to create more friction, thus decreasing slippage). Originally, the strings were far too close together, leading to scratchy tones (I am a cellist, learning the violin, and I also have blunt fingertips). After adjusting their spacing, it is much easier to get my fingers on the right string at the right time. The rest comes with practice. The bow, also, while not top-quality, has served well. After flossing the hairs (which took some doing) it works very well. For anyone looking to buy an inexpensive violin for a beginner, or for anyone who is prone to instrument breakage, I strongly recommend this violin. Pros: -Good tone quality -Good resonance/volume

Cons: -Pegs need chalking -Spacing of strings needs adjustment
