Living Room

The main goal for the house is to integrate the concept of MAALIWALAS, which means “to give a feeling of ease and relaxation, an ideal state of being or a peaceful state of mind.” through the application of modern building technologies.The concept would fit well with the tropical climate of the region. To achieve Maaliwalas, strategically located openings, high ceilings and proper orientation were applied to the house, this would allow for natural ventilation and thermal comfort for the interior of the house. For the construction of the house, the process of prefabrication will be used. Prefabricated materials such as the M2 wall panels and roof metal sheets will be installed through the use of automated construction. The use of 3D printing construction, Green building materials and Smart Home technology will also be applied to the project.
