Does your child LOVE to read? The absolute best thing about reading a book is getting to talk with someone else about the book, whether you love it or hate it! Members will work together to choose books, and will facilitate weekly discussions and activities over the chosen book. DATE: Every Friday COST: FREE TIME: 9:30 AM for 3rd-5th grade (click here) and 10:30 AM for 6th-8th grade (click here) AGE: Members entering 3rd-8th grade
Our RWYC-TV news broadcasting team will learn to create a news broadcast from the experts at KCEN, and will create daily and weekly news broadcasts for parents and members throughout the summer.

Lead4Change
We are launching a new student leadership program this summer. It is a 4 week, intensive leadership program that couples leadership and service in a way that produces real change through action.

This program is a reading intervention program for members entering 1st and 2nd grade that are struggling with reading.

Is your child struggling with reading comprehension? Every Tuesday and Thursday morning, the program promotes literacy growth and thinking skills and supports social and emotional development.

3rd-5th KidzMath
This summer we are offering an exciting math program called KidzMath for our 3rd-5th grade members. The program’s goals are to increase children’s interest in math, understanding of math, and ability to work with others.
