UFA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focusing on “Skills for Soccer, Skills for Life.” Recreational (Spring Feb/Mar-May, Fall: Aug/Sep-Nov) • U04 Mini League: six Friday Night Interactive Sessions (includes T-shirt and Mini-League Ball) • U06 to U08: one scheduled 1-hour practice per week with weekend games • U10 to U19: two 1-hour practices per week with weekend games Academy & Select (Aug to May) • U08 Future Academy: two 1½-hour practices a week with weekend games • U09 to U12 Academy: two 1½-hour practices a week with weekend games • U13 to U19 Select: two 1½-hour practices a week with weekend games

• Ages 16+ • Fee: $550 per team • Open Men’s League: Mondays* • Church Co-ed League: Tuesdays* • Open Women’s League: Wednesdays* • Open Co-ed League: Thursdays* *Days of the week that each league will play are tentative and subject to change depending on field availability and number of teams per league A minimum of 4 teams per league is required. Leagues not reaching this minimum will be refunded in full or given the option to be added into another similar league. Open Co-ed and Church Co-ed leagues will be separate if minimum of 4 teams per league is met; if minimum is not met, leagues may be combined for teams wishing to do so; all other teams will be given a full refund.

The Parks & Recreation youth swim team in Dawson County is an outsourced program, coordinated and operated by Dawson County Swim Team, whose purpose is to provide a structured summer athletic activity for the children of our community. The DC Swim Team provides opportunities for each participant to develop a positive self image. Opportunities are provided to participate in competitive swimming through venues of dual meets, North Georgia Swim League (NGSL) meets and Divisional/State Meets.

• Ages 5-18 • At Veterans Memorial Park • Registration Fee: $150 • Practices begin in May: Monday-Thursday mornings • Swim meets every Saturday in June (locations TBD) • North Ga Swim League swim season: 5/30/2023 - 6/30/2023 • GRPA State Qualifiers swim through 7/16/2023 Some travelling will be necessary for this activity. For those needing a new uniform, please be sure to register for the full-priced activity, which includes a new uniform. Once you have completed registration, you will then sign up for an appointment for your cheerleader to be sized (either by the uniform company rep or by park staff). The sign-up link will be available once the online registration period has opened. The uniform company representative will be present on a select day during the walk-in registration period to provide expert advice on sizes; however, cheerleaders can be measured by park staff at any time during the walk-in registration period.

• Grades: Kindergarten-6th grade (grade level at the start of the season) • Fee Options: • $140 (NEW UNIFORM NEEDED) - Fee includes shell, skirt, briefs, and poms • $50 (USING UNIFORM FROM 2022 season) - Fee does not include any uniform items; participant will be responsible for providing all uniform items. Uniform items are not available to purchase a la carte. If any of your cheerleader’s uniform items do not fit or need replacing, you will need to select the full registration fee option to receive a new set of uniform items. • Practices begin July • Games begin August/September

Participant must reside in Dawson County or attend a public school in Dawson County in order to be eligible to participate. Parks & Recreation accepts team registrations only. The actual formation of teams is to be organized, implemented, and monitored by team representative/ coach Practices and games will be scheduled around regular Parks & Recreation-hosted activities and events.

PICKLEBALL

Open play is free of charge for all players and is designed for those who know the basic rules and scoring. Please bring your own balls and paddles. Three indoor courts at Rock Creek Park and two indoor courts at Veterans Memorial Park are designated for pickleball as scheduled below.
