Couture spaces, from catwalk to Raffles Merging the worlds of fashion and hospitality, Raffles has teamed up with fashion designers to bring the art of circus to life. Local favourites including Eric Raisina, Natacha Van, and Romyda Keth of Ambre will be displaying their exclusive collections featuring late circus stars throughout the hotel grounds.

Growing up in Madagascar, Eric Raisina was influenced by the vibrant colours and breathtaking scenery. He enjoys working with natural fibres to create handmade designs such as his trademark silk fur and natural raffia lace. He has collaborated with Yves Saint Laurent and Christian Lacroix and adores the heyday of French couture from the 1920s. Eric’s passion lies in the couture design process, his collection is composed of one-of-a-kind pieces and accessories which demonstrates his passion and talent for style, and continues to evolve while staying true to his personal taste. His collections have been shown in Asia, Africa, Europe, China and USA.
Born in Phnom Penh and later raised in Paris, Romyda Keth attended the Paris School of Fine Arts and the Esmod School of Fashion Design before being offered a position as a designer by Macy’s. In 1999, soon after returning to Phnom Penh, Romyda launched her first boutique, Ambre, in a colonial mansion followed by two more boutiques in Raffles Hotel le Royal and the Grand Hotel d’Angkor. Romyda’s elegant designs are distinguished by her love for high-quality Khmer silk and organza, harmonious colouring, and feminine flair.
A graduate of the London College of Fashion, Natacha Van is a CambodianChinese designer based in Phnom Penh. Since her debut in 2010, she has focused on couture craftsmanship, using 100% handcrafted materials in London and Hong Kong, and manufactured by master tailors in Cambodia. Her collection is sold globally and has been featured in major fashion events in London, Paris, Milan, Seoul and New York. In 2019, she was appointed as the “Ambassador of Cambodia” and represented the Kingdom at fashion shows in London and Paris. Her designs have been featured in Marie Claire, Elle and Vogue magazines, showcasing her commitment to excellence and multi-cultural influences.
