UNCONFERENCE ITINERARY, THURSDAY, MARCH 30

Breakout Sessions

The UnConference breakout sessions on Thursday, March 30, are your opportunity to engage more fully with the topics presented in Wednesday’s scientific talks. We hope the UnConference format will be energizing and collaborative, generative of conversation and fresh ideas, and potentially inspire new projects. The ‘rules’ are few and simple –

• The breakout sessions are participant-driven, unscripted and interactive. Our Lunch and Dinner Reception on March 29 are opportunities for you to identify breakout session topics or groups.

• The Titles in the program are placeholders and should evolve to reflect the individuals who participate in each breakout session.

• The Format is flexible. You may interact in group discussions or 1:1.

• The desired Outcome of the sessions is to reach a consensus on whether or not there is a collaborative project. Collaborations are between FAU and UCSF. Siemens may be involved if appropriate.

• Leaders will guide breakout session discussions if needed.

• Mobility is encouraged. If you observe that you are not contributing, learning, or having fun – move to another session.

Breakout Session Leaders

Florian Knoll, PhD, Peder Larson, PhD, David Saloner, PhD, Galateia Kazakia, PhD, Andy Burghardt, Youngho Seo, PhD, Yang Yang, PhD, Andreas Rauschecker, MD, PhD, David Blumenthal, PhD, and Benjamin Polacco, PhD

Reserved Meeting Rooms

We have reserved meeting rooms in Mission Hall and Byers Hall for the breakout sessions. Please let Annie (peiting.liu@ucsf.edu) know if you’d like a room.
