Dear Reader

Welcome to the 8th anthology that we’ve published this year. It has been indeed a long journey, and the journey continues. I would like to thank you for taking time to download and read this book, and hope that you find it inspiring. For the month of August, we did not publish an anthology, as we had hoped to publish this book along with an audio book version, therefore we wanted to publish both versions at he same time. Unfortunately, due to factors beyond our control, we were not able to publish the audio book version. Non the less, we sincerely hope that this book still speaks to you, and leaves you inspired. We at radioactive believe in the power of poetry , and believe that it can be used to spread the Gospel. With this being said, we continue to take pride in creating platforms for different poets from around the world to share their amazing work. [Elohim: a name for God used frequently in the Hebrew Bible] Be blessed. Regards Thuthukani Ndlovu Compiler and Editor

The lack of his existence in our streets Has been replaced by Hate Greed And disregard for the life of another human being Gun shots Violence Blood on the streets everywhere Did you hear Nina Simone say there is “blood on the leaves” But do you care? He gave us the power To help save each other’s life But we have got to stop showing fear Because if you really truly believed You would understand that 25 to life Could have been avoided With just a little prayer But we have to listen With our ears Close our mouth And open our eyes Can you see him Everywhere? Can you hear Jesus Christ? Can you hear him Through the lost souls Who scream and cry when there is no light Can you feel him Under your knees Every time you drop down and pray at night

Somebody say, He loves me There is no greater truth Our hearts Our souls He embodies me AND you So do unto others As you want done unto yourself Love your neighbors Honor your mother and your father And watch the improvements in your wealth. You see, a child is born To give the village something to do But don’t just stand there Take a look around How many children Are standing Near you? Yes it’s going to take a village And know some who will disagree But no matter which way we slice this We have got to come together To beat these streets. © Mocha Moma

When I look back at the past, those days when my only friend was the wind. People rejected, mocked and pointed figures at me saying," I am worthless, a typical of Nazareth; a Nazarene". They said I am short sighted, drunk, I am just a day dreamer hence nothing real do I see‌ Those were past days. Today when I take the pen to write, my testimony will break the rules of grammar and cross the margin. If I tell you who I was, what I did and the things I have been through, my tongue will drown in the pool of my words so I prefer nature doesn't remind me. To make you strong and enlighten your understanding, I will tell you so you can reflect when you experience or the wind of this world tries to blow off your lantern. As young as I was, each time I got the opportunity to hold the pen, I told the paper one day soon I will be outstanding. Questions came in, I answered and said," I don't want to build the tallest or biggest building nor do I want to be the architect of the bridge connecting the highest mountains, I want to be seen when others have fallen as the only one standing, I want to be seen when others can no more go as the only heart running ". Meaning, I have to practice how to go alone because the part of success is treaded by the few who really mean to bring glory home. I still took to the part although problems came in day by day but I didn't give them chance to grow into obstacles that will block my way. Maybe I do not know the particular place I am heading but I trust the architect of the map I am using. I might not know what the future holds but at least I know the one who holds it. so though it looked small today I see the future as so big .I might not be recognised but thanks to my stars the king of kings knows me...

At each point in the journey, I was taught patience when the sun to refused to give the earth light in the morning .I was taught who real friends are when I realised those I had were just showing their teeth's around me .I was taught persistence when failure is what always my tries were resulting .I was taught tolerance when some corrections became very insulting and words from critics were disturbing .I was taught humility when the voice in a child's correction became very very informing.

Finally I was taught to meet Jesus when I needed to overcome all these obstacles listed before me .I met the king of kings whose words inspired and healed me ,I felt the presence of the son of man whose touch gave me the glory that changed my story . I don't know about you but for me ,this is a summary to make you rise up for the future is calling .Yes you can! Š Ishew the poet

Will I find a virtuous wife, Who knows her worth is far above rubies, For she will have no lack of gain? She will do good to me and not evil, All the days of her life, And to her, I plan to do the same. She will gird herself with strength, And strengthen her arms. I believe the joy of the Lord is her strength indeed. She will extend her hand to the poor, Yes, she will reach out her hands to the needy. I believe she's blessed to be a blessing to those in need. Strength and honour will be her clothing; And she shall rejoice in the time to come: The time is near. She will open her mouth with wisdom, And her tongue will be the law of kindness; She has a sound mind and not the spirit of fear. She will watch over the ways of our household, and not eat the bread of idleness: Her daily bread is God's word. Our children will rise up and call her blessed, I will do the same and give her praise: Therefore I will make sure her vision is never blurred‌

Many daughters have done well, But she will exceed them all, I believe this is because of how she was raised. "Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, But a woman who fears the Lord: She shall be praised.“ #Proverb31 ŠThuthukani Ndlovu
