VET Student Loans Approved for VET Student Loans

As a registered training organisation (RTO), the Western Australian Aviation College is approved to offer VET Student Loans to eligible students. This means that students enrolled in our aviation courses may have the opportunity to access government funding to help cover the cost of their tuition and other related expenses.

Eligibility Criteria and Requirements

To be eligible for a VET Student Loan, students must meet specific criteria established by the government. These criteria include being an Australian citizen or permanent resident and being enrolled in a VET course that is approved for VSL. Additionally, students must meet the academic and literacy requirements outlined for their chosen course.

Paying Back the Loan

Students are required to pay back the loan once they have completed their studies and are earning above a certain income threshold. Repayment of the loan is managed by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).
